Industrial Maintenance Technician
Mission
Execute assigned technical tasks (maintenance work) related to the assembly, operation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities required for the operation of the plant.Responsabilities
- Follow instructions from the manager of the maintenance area in order to carry out assigned tasks on time and according to requirements.
- Report to the supervisor any deviation or issue that may affect the maintenance of the plant’s equipment, facilities, or instrumentation.
- Manage and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure order, cleanliness, care, and maintenance of the workstation, spare parts warehouse, and tools, as well as the facilities where activities are performed.
- Promote solutions to equipment and facility issues in order to improve productivity.
- Observe health and safety, quality, production, and environmental regulations specific to each work situation.
- Use machinery, technology, equipment, and tools specific to the Maintenance department.
Requirements
- Vocational Training qualification, preferably related to mechanical maintenance, electrical systems, and/or automation.
- At least one year of experience in the maintenance area of a manufacturing company in the food industry or related sectors is desirable.
- Knowledge of IT and office software tools.
- Proficiency in the use of technologies such as PDAs, control panels, scanners, apps, and/or similar devices.
- Knowledge of maintenance management software (CMMS).
- Training and knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
- English proficiency will be considered an asset.
