Junior Automation and Industrial Robotics Technician (M/F/X)


Mission

Support the plant programming technician in executing technical tasks related to equipment programming, automation, robotics, instrumentation, and repair of equipment and facilities necessary for the plant's operation.

Responsabilities

  • Programming of PLCs. Robotization and digitization of production systems.
  • Program and/or configure the different applications/industrial elements in the existing technologies within the plant: PLC, drives, industrial networks, machine vision, etc. Program in a structured manner to facilitate the later identification of failures.
  • Calibration of measuring equipment.
  • Control and management of software and general instrumentation.
  • Interpretation and creation of electrical schematics.
  • Execute technical tasks related to equipment, components, instrumentation, and facilities, ensuring their effective operation and safety for each work shift.
  • Review, inspect, and update the documentation of all electrical, electronic devices, and PLCs in the plant.
  • Propose projects for improving machinery, performance, or energy efficiency.
  • Execute the Preventive Maintenance Plan for the production lines.
  • Prepare technical requirements for requests for quotes and/or purchase of any instrumentation element or control system for the facility.
  • Know and identify significant environmental aspects and their respective impacts associated with their area and activities.
  • Know and identify hazards and risks related to Occupational Risk Prevention, as well as the preventive measures and actions defined for their area and activities.

Requirements

  • Higher vocational training in Industrial Automation and Robotics.
  • Knowledge of PLC Software such as Siemens TIA PORTAL/Step7, Schneider Control Expert, Omron CX-Programmer, Rockwell, and ABB is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication networks such as Profinet, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus, and others is a plus.
  • Experience in electrical and automation projects is a plus.
  • Experience in maintaining electrical and automated installations and motor control is a plus.
  • English level: B2 is a plus.
