Industrial Maintenance Technician
Mission
Execute the assigned technical maintenance tasks related to the assembly, operation, upkeep, and repair of the machines, equipment, and facilities necessary for the plant's operation.Responsabilities
- Follow the instructions provided by the maintenance supervisor to complete the assigned tasks in a timely and effective manner.
- Report any deviation or problem to the supervisor that could impact the maintenance of the equipment, facilities, or instrumentation at the plant.
- Manage and execute both corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure the orderliness, cleanliness, care, and maintenance of your work area, including the spare parts and tools storage, as well as the facilities where your work is carried out.
- Propose solutions to issues affecting equipment and facilities in order to improve productivity.
- Adhere to the specific safety, hygiene, quality, production, and environmental regulations relevant to your work situation.
- Use the machinery, technology, equipment, and tools provided by the Maintenance Department.
Requirements
- Vocational training, preferably related to mechanical, electrical, and/or automation maintenance.
- At least one year of experience in a maintenance role within a production company in the food industry or related sectors is desirable.
- Knowledge of computers and office software.
- Proficiency with technologies such as PDAs, panels, scanners, apps, or similar devices.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software (CMMS).
- Training and understanding of Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) regulations.
- Proficiency in English is an asset.
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactivity.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, with persistence.
- Attention to detail and a high sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Commitment to achieving departmental objectives.
